COOKIE POLICY

Purpose of the cookie policy

The cookie policy aims at informing the purposes for which cookies are used and how you can manage them. It complies with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Article 82 of the French amended Data Protection Act and with the latest guidelines and recommendation of the French data protection authority (CNIL) relating to cookies adopted on 17 September 2020.

Definition of a cookie

The term “cookie” covers all tracers deposited and/or read when consulting a website, reading an e-mail, installing or using a software or a mobile application. The lifetime of a cookie is 13 months, unless you withdraw your consent first.

Each website can access cookies it has deposited on a computer to read them, modify them and save the information they contain. Cookies also play an important role in the functioning and ergonomics of a website. In particular, they are used to facilitate browsing, generate statistics, allow transactions, ensure the security of the website, etc.

What are the categories of cookies used?

There are two main categories of cookies:

• Session cookies (or temporary cookies): they are deleted from your computer at the end of your browsing session. For example, they allow you to consult different pages of a website without having to enter information you have already transmitted each time.

• Persistent cookies: they are stored on your computer after you close your browser. They store information about your browsing, such as your last visit, your preferences, language selection, etc.

Tracers exempted from prior consent

Nanobiotix uses these tracers to enable and facilitate browsing on the website in particular by memorizing the browsing preferences defined during the session.

These tracers cannot technically be deactivated from the website. You can object to the use of these tracers exclusively by setting your browser. In principle, you can either activate a private browsing function or only prohibit or restrict cookies. Please note that cookies may have been stored on your device before the browser was set up: in this case, you should delete the browsing history by using the browser settings.
